Question by rainbowhacker!: What modifications with minimum budget would make this PC smooth for HD experience?
I am worried with my motherboard mainly and it says it has up to DDR2 1600Mhz support. So I am doubtful of installing an NVIDIA video card. Please suggest.
Please recommend some add-ons for my hardware for everything is running fine and it might be a loss to sell and arrange new hardware setup.

Suggest a decent NVIDIA video card: My budget is <$ 200 (Is it compatible with ASUS M3N78EM?) Suggest Audio speakers 2.1 :My budget is max Rs 2500-3000(Durability and clarity is the priority).[*Creative speakers have the hand scrolling volume controller which is a no for me*] Cheap suggestions if any for a wall projection from my PC.As I am on budget Projector/LCD is a big no. 🙁 Suggest A good PSU for supporting the Video card. My budget is $ 30 Suggest a stabilizer for this PC if needed. Its a difficult answer as hardware prices are dropping while getting exponentialy faster all the time. The age and specs are ok and I wouldnt recommend putting alot into any pc older then a few gens of new tech.

I would just do a minimum of ram to max your MB holds, and an SSD maybe a geforce 560ti.Nothing more or your better off getting a new much faster system cheaper then a full upgrade just save a bit.Think about windows7 64bit for better support and more ram & ssd support also.Find cheap win7 now online and elsewhere.

I would boost ram & ssd get a GPU on sale for 200. and you should get a big boost, anything more is not cost effective,as new tech is coming soon and your a few behind already.

I bought an Alienware loaded M18X and less than a year later msata turbo cache ssds & Ivybridge kepler GPus etc.Just PC tech game I guess.Look up parts on Newegg and forums like Tomshardware overclockers etc for all great info & prices.Good Luck!
