Is this 1500 Watt Oven sufficient enough to cook & bake?

Question by Saber: Is this 1500 Watt Oven sufficient enough to cook & bake?
We just need an oven to cook Fish and bake some cookies but will this oven be enough for the job?

http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-CTO4500S-CounterTop-Convection/dp/B001GJSMKE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I read in some of the reviews that they use it for chicken, steak, hamburgers.. etc so I’m guessing Fish is just weak right? We have a full size oven but we don’t want to use it because of the energy consumption.

Yes, it will. Perhaps not as well as you hope, but it will cook fish and cookies. Hopefully not together?

I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KCO223CU-Convection-Countertop-Oven/dp/B003TT0ZC2/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1298429006&sr=1-3 for small baking jobs, along with a toaster oven like you have in your link. I use the toaster oven for toast, and the convection oven for anything else. Less problem with hot spots and uneven heat.

Question by Jay: Will 2 15 kicker comps and 1500 watt audiopipe be loud enough for me?
Heres the deal I’m 16 and this will be my first system ever. I bought the 2 15″ kicker comps in a sealed box for 50 bucks, the audio pipe 1500 for 75 and got a new ken-wood head unit with a dash kit wirring harness etc.. for 150 all brand new. Overall do you think i will be happy with this setup? not having had a system before i dont think it will take mutch to impress me, but i do want it to be somewhat loud? ive read a few things about the comps, and some say they are ok, and some say they are weak as fuck.. but idk any help comments advice is appreciated…
and as far as hooking it up. Me and a few budds where going to hook it up, but im not sure how well thats going to work, or should i just have somebody do it.

Thanks guys

is that the ap15001d?

The Comp 15’s are only 250w rms each. Assuming they’re 4 ohms you will probably be wiring them parallel for 2 ohms: http://m.seimg.net/product/img/subwoofer_wiring/2_subs_SVC_4_ohm_mono.jpg

The 15001 can produce close to 900w rms at that impedance so you need to be very careful adjusting the amp’s gain (possibly leaving it at min) and leave the bass boost at zero.

They’re good entry level subs. Relative to a lot of 15’s they don’t have a lot of SPL capability, but just the fact that it’s a 15 means it will get loud.
